He Wants It ALL... Choose HIM Today

Funny thing I noticed yesterday as I was running. This tree..... I've never seen anything like it! One tree, one pot, same roots, same soil, same water, but one side has been in the sun and the other hasn't. Sounds a LOT like us, people. We can be from the same home (biological and/or spiritual/church), same foundation (soil), fed the same food and water (the Word). In fact, many of us can/will talk the same spiritual talk too...looking to par. BUT, some receive The Son, and others don't. The real "walking dead" and don't even realize it.

My biological-father often tells me he's always figured that because I'm saved, my step-dad is a preacher, father-in-law is preacher and two of his former best friends have become preachers, he believes that ought to be enough to get him into Heaven. Answer: Association will never save anyone. It indeed can help get you on the right track, but ALL of us have to receive Jesus (The Son) as our Savior for ourselves. PLEASE don't be the one that talks the talk and looks to par, but get to Heaven and Jesus says, "Depart from me for I never knew you." (Matt 7:21) PLEASE....#GIVE your life to Christ TODAY #ALL of you #CHOOSE Him #TODAY

What Are You Thirsty For

LADIES and GENTS.... You know, God is jealous for us!!! He wants the absolute BEST we have to give to him. So whatever it is... ALL that it is that you highly prioritize that distracts you from giving Him just that, turn that thing around!!

I think of how, depending on the season, my timeline is flooded with comments of Scandal, BBW, Being Mary Jane, Haves and The Have Nots and the list goes on. I see how you turn off your phones, close yourself in rooms, have premier watch-parties, put spouses and kids out ALL for that short moment of "entertainment". But all the while, God LONGS for that same excitement, anticipation, expectacncy, "top on your priority list" from you. And yes, this finger was 1st pointed at myself, because EVERY time I want to fuss at my husband about me not having a regular appointment on his calender, there's a still, small voice from the Holy Spirit whispering to me,"Now you see how I feel....When was the last time you put ME on your calendar?!?!?"

But a heart filled with repentance, turned around actions, and MUCH higher priorities is the solution. GIVE GOD YOUR BEST!! Pray for a hunger and a thirst for HIM. No one likes a one-sided relationship.... Not even God!!!
